The wheel cribs are 2 piece 12" high total.
I jack each side up 6" onto lower half of the cribs and then jack it up the other 6" after resting on all 4 pieces so I don't have too much tilt at 1 time.
Just raising it up on the 12" cribs I am now able to get under the car with no problem on a low profile creeper.

Most of what I do requires at least 1 wheel off, so I always use stands. I need to get a set of poly pads for them.

Advice when you get your lift — you'll need to make your own ramps. I have two lifts, both different manufacturers, and the front lip didn't clear either. The ramps I built from wood are 7' long, that's the distance I needed to clear the undercarriage going up and down.
