    Have you guys thought about what might cause it? Maybe raw fuel in the exhaust system igniting with a pop? What if the tune was set up to drastically retard the ignition timing during decel such that combustion was still happening in the cylinder when the exhaust value opens? Maybe make the mixture extra rich during decel to ensure that some combustion can occur in the exhaust system?

    Just the ticket to keep the turbo spinning fast during shifts.

    The timing retard is the reason for the backfire but it was not intentional it was lack of understanding on how to properly work with the ecu.

    The reason i asked is to find if people liked it or not

    My M12 pops, and it WAS tuned that way on purpose.

    My neighbors dont either and on track it can be a problem. What have others done? Timing and silencer?
