How to get traction? Slicks? What's the widest tires we can run?

Not that I'm by any long shot complaining, mind you.

    With 18 x 10.5 295 x 35 x 18

    with 19 x 10.5 305 x 30 x19

But if the engineer designs the system right traction is not a problem, Ask Stevecapecod and Alex

it is all in the cam profile and the tune, how the power comes on. Oh and the right foot

Because the system is throttle by wire it is very predictable

If you spike the throttle tire smoke fly's lots of fun. I can now smoke the tires and not break transmissions

If you roll into the throttle quickly, the passenger scream OK OK i be leave you slow down. Steve made the comment that the car did not feel very fast he was quickly was convinced he was wrong

    Little update
Seam like the little details are harder than the big picture

Electric Power steering pump is in. Had to disassemble the front of the car to install it, the only thing i did not remove was the a/c condenser, Power brakes, and the clutch master cylinder everything else is off including a arms wow hell of a job

finalizing belt routing without the power steering pump and it is turning out much nicer

at the same time routing oil cooler hoses and everything should be done

will post pictures of the disaster area tomorrow hopefully

    Update
Did some wrap on the exchaust and it worked great.

New problem to solve and this is a tough one " being sarcastic oil temp is to low so i need to add an oil thermostat.

clutch master cylinder needs changed to a larger dia to reduce peddle travel.

we are down to minor items

car is running great. now to work on the wish list

    1) cruise control
    2) New uprights to e able to use CTS hubs/bearings, calipers and rotors.
    3) ABS
    4) stability and traction control
    5)Paddle shifter

We meet almost all of our goals
    1) and foremost not to modify the chassis
    2) not increase weight, oops gained 15 lb but did move the weight lower and to the right side for a better balance
    3) Minimum target horsepower at the wheels normally aspirated of 450 hp made 472 whp on our dyno and 510whp on a dyno jet
    4) Service engine light
    5) Reduce heat
    6) Increase reliability and availability

I forgot to tell the non believers, I guess I am like the bumble bee I do not know any better so i do it anyways
