I was also going to go the route of the Mini Cooper (ZF pump). I didn't want to go new so you really have to watch out because the Mini Cooper's had a major issue with these catching on fire. My wife has a Mini so I do have the wiring info if you go that route. Maybe Will will chime in and can give more info.

So it's been sometime but I'm back to working on the Ecoboost swap. Today was mounting up the dry sump tank and more test fitting. ECU and breather are next. Here is a pic of the dry sump engine built by Esslinger out in Califorina Name: IMG_0177 (1).jpg

With the computer and fuse box there, aren't you concerned about water intrusion? or will there be a cover to help better protect it?

I was thinking of using a diverter. I doubt it will ever be driven in the rain especially with NT01 tires on it.

I'd be more concerned about accessibility - Trying to replace one of those fuses means removing the wheel and fender liner.

Did you have to notch the frame for the turbo?
    Also, planning on having AC?

    I like the progress!

I pretty sure I can reach the fuses from the inside reaching over the dry sump tank. If not then I would have to pull the arch.

I did did not have to notch or cut the frame for this install. Using all the original mount locations.

I don’t think AC is going to be an option. It would be a custom mount and compressor. We will see.
