Two speeds 700 psi constant and when you take it to lock it jumps to 1000 psi

I am wondering if you have any photos of your installation.

What causes my power steering pump to moan/hummm when I'm at an auto X and there is a lot of quick tight turns?

    Thanks,

    Ken

That noise can often be traced to cavitation of the fluid -- air cavities forming and collapsing rapidly as the fluid moves rapidly through the pump and hoses during rapid steering maneuvers. Use Google to find more info.

    Ken,
A -10 or -12 size reinforced hose should be the supply to the pump on the suction side. And a -8 should be the low psi return. Make sure are no kinks or issues with the hose sizing or condition. These two hoses are important. One is gravity feed to pump and the other low psi return. Flow needs to be good threw these two.

Also any run longer on the three feet on the return should consider larger than -8
