    The lab analysis is pretty wild... if they know the engine the oil came out of they can tell you detailed health info... like blood work on a human. My first analysis on my boat they flagged high levels of copper and some other elements, which I promptly forwarded to Cummins' engineering department, who said it was normal break in material. Said if it wasn't in spec the next oil change they'd be pulling and replacing the motor (it was in spec next time).

    The lab lab can even pinpoint pending failures like abnormal valve wear, cylinder wall wear, or crank bearings about to die based on the exact metal they find. Pretty cool stuff
