Default Easiest Way to Check on Fuel Pump Wiring?

Car is finally boosting at its full potential. Momentarily spikes to <1 BAR, but holds to 0.77 Bar and depletes to 0.58 over the rev range.

Given I've got the car in a good running state, I've noticed a few random items:

    (1) It was originally stated the car came with the ProAlloy Larger Intercooler, but the intercooler on the car is the 1G upgraded racing racing unit (~65mm thick core). Is it worth upgrading or have others been happy with the 1G unit?
    (2) Trying to ensure the fuel pump relay and wiring upgrade are peformed. What's the easiest method to verify? Rather than taking off the belly pans and rummaging around, where is the relay normally mounted? If its not performed, anyone have instructions on the most common mounting and hookup?

    Thanks -
    - Chris

My fuel pump relay is mounted in front of the rear left wheel well, just above the fuel pump itself.
