First of, congrats to GM for keeping the price reasonable! Starting at $60k with >3s to 60MPH... hat tip!
Second, will the engine/trans fit into our cars?![]()

Yes, Gafernandez has a Corvette motor in his Rossion. He had to engineer many parts to make it work, but it looks great and drives like you hope it would.
Over 3000lbs=boring. 0-60 over 4 seconds=boring. Under 1g=boring. Noble, not boring.
I know about his car, but he kept the engine transverse. I wonder if the whole drive train from C8 could be fitted longitudinally. Hoover is working on longitudinal setup using V6 EcoBoost...
I think the C8 engine setup is very intriguing. its one of the few engines I would consider swapping... would love to get some more dimensions of it to get a better idea how well it would fit
Im reading its almost sold out from Pre-orders for 2020--It must be the cup holders--

Wow, they really hit it out of the park on this one. I was just checking out the Ferrari boards... the Ferrari crew has a lot of glowing things to say about the car which is pretty amazing just by itself. Waiting on actual driving test results. I suspect the weight will be a little bit of an issue and it still won't transition quite as quickly as a Noble/Rossion, but probably really good at everything else.
I get to place my order tomorrow for the C8
Any body interested in a Rossion with a V8
On Monday I sat in one of the 5 pre-production cars that exist. Yes they did hit a home run. As of then, with all the preorders, if you ordered on Monday, the earliest delivery date was Sept 2020.
Apologies for the size of the photo.

I’ll just wait for one to show up in a wrecking yard to take the drivetrain out and transplant it. Sadly, the delivery date on that one is way shorter...![]()
