I especially like the Honda Accord in those pics!
    Over 3000lbs=boring. 0-60 over 4 seconds=boring. Under 1g=boring. Noble, not boring.

This was the best turnout and weather yet. I am very happy this event continues in very capable hands and has progressed from where I started it 7 years ago, 7 Years!!!Thanks to Hunter, Gafernandez, and Supercar Sensation for making better every year.

Also thanks to Rival, esrandel, and Gafernandez for letting me flog your cars on track, I have no idea why you would trust me with your cars!!!

I'm not very good at this Forum stuff.
took me 2 hours to find these pics
    what a beutiful sight
if anyone has extra T shirts please PM me and I'll buy them
    Thanks, Troy

FYI, Our best lap times at that track were sub 130's in 2010 in the green noble.
took me for ever to find some data , but I finally found some bits that look to be correct?
I had to re download Traqmate and then get the data in, so, I can't guarantee that it's correct?
I just remember someone saying the track records were around 140?
    and I remember like 127's?

    Thanks, Troy AKA dream smasher

Hey Troy! For those that dont know about the "green Noble", it was a fully prepped race car driven by Derek Whittis, who also drove as a pro in touring car class. Troy was Dereks crew chief. Why is this significant? Because it was the platform that allowed Troy to be the best Noble mechanic in the country. Troy, if I getting any of this wrong, please correct me. Troy went through many motors finding the limits of the Noble. So yes, the green Noble was extremely fast driven by a pro and mechaniced by the best. We are all benefiting now from a relationship that was forged many years ago. Thanks Troy, you mad scientist!!!

Video on the green Nobel at VIR. I believe he was removed from the track for driving too fast!

In fact, I bet there are many on this forum that would love to learn a little Noble history from Troy, what do you say, Troy?
