What have you all learned about the best way to insure Nobels in the US. Do any of the classic/exotic insurance companies (Grundy, etc) insure these cars?

    Thanks.

I have yet to find one too. AAA doesn't work in NV.

I can highly recommend Hagerty (www.hagerty.com). They have insured my classic Lotus for many years and they say they will be more than happy to insure my Noble when I get it on the road. They are covering Dave Bell's Noble in the bay area already. The cost will be about $1500/year for me for stated value coverage. They do have some restrictions -- like storage in locked garage, not used for commuting, and no more than about 3K miles / year. They are a great company, though, it their plan works for you.

    That's great.

They stopped insuring Cobras so I switched from them.

And they wouldn't take newer cars like my wifes 91 vette.

So they must be classing Nobles as exotics like they did Cobras.

    Thanks.

Has anyone tried Grundy? Seems like the prices are reasonable.

I just got a quote from Grundy for my M400. Stated value of $100k will be a $1,400 premium for the year in IL. No deductible. No restriction on miles per year although they do not want you to commute in the car. It seems that it will be very easy to have them insure the car.

$1400 is not too shabby at all for that kind of coverage.

Try ANPAC - I got a really good deal - very inexpensive if not your daily driver - pretty inexpensive if it is - PM me if you need contact details. I think they have insured two Nobles to date
