At least in Hawaii, Progressive is very user friendly. They hadn't heard of the Noble (big surprise!) but were more than happy to (continue to) insure me. They just factored in the price of the car and the fact that it's a sports-exotic:
Voila! A quick, though high priced policy. Still, it was no more than I would have paid for a new Porsche, so all's fair.

Wow, I just got off the phone with USAA. Had to explain the car to them, and they had to look it up and call me back, I got a quote with 300K full coverage, 1K deductible, 5K miles/year (may need to adjust that). Comes to $1060 per year! I think i even have 1 speeding ticket on my record. I also have 1 car, 2 motorcycles and 3 homeowner policies which make a difference on the discount (for reference). USAA is great if you can get it and also have multiple policies. When I added my motorcycles, the cost of my car insurance went down about the same as the entire bike premium (aka "free" insurance!).
I think you just have to have a family member in the military or retired. My grandfather was. You can go to their website and go thru an automated page and it will tell you if you qualify.

Well, I've had some family issues to take care of for a while, as well as selling my house. Been waiting to get finances squared away. I think I'm gonna go for a used 3R, hopefully in the next few weeks. Maybe get an M400 lateron.Sheesh, that's a great price. So when are you picking one up?

When I go thru the final U/W process, I will get the guy's name. I know a lot of their stuff is state specific.. I dont think they insure many motorcycles anymore, except CA and other places.

Progessive would insure it as a normal car, no restrictions except no track day coverage. Allstate will cover it no problem.
www.laurelde.com will cover with track day insurance. Dean
