Also, consider that we will have to refill fuel.
We should also be using the stock ecu as any other engine management will exceed the capabilities of the MBE unit.

    I'm in.

Well I think that disqualifies the Green Monster...believe that's been a Motec for awhile now...

But why the stock ECU "rule"? Not much else on these cars is stock...wait till you see the suspension and aero on that beast...

I don't really care, but keeping these engines working for "racing" does require a good ecu.

It'll take all of an hour to put the stock ECU back in the car along with the stock harness, The ECU is fine(do yawl realize these MBE ECU's run in racing airplanes, not reliable?). 45 mins on a tank of gas is fine, we are up from the first years where 32 minutes was the limit. stock fuel tank with bladder, 044 pump, stock engine, bee hive valve springs. the MAPs that we offer in MBE are the same as the MoTeC, we use the MoTeC obviously for data acquisition,MAP iteration, drive train monitoring and alarms as necessary. I bet the MBE could run a 24 hour with zero failures. the suspension is stock as well, a side from shocks, even the exhaust is stock till after the Y pipe, we only removed the cats.go back to R's instead of RS turbo's, shoot, if I pull off the splitter put the muffler back on it, cut out the side intrusion bars and throw the interior back in it, it will be just like 70% of the noble out there, STOCK. it's not rocket science.

I am in regardless of ecu or anything else used. No rules but being safe for cars and drivers.

But can we do something like chumpcar and have a minimum 5 minute pit box period per hour or 45 mins? I too doubt I can make 45 minutes on a tank at speed.

And, Where are we doing this?

Come on out to California. We have no heat, humidity or hurricanes. Although, we did just have an earthquake about an hour ago. It was a small one, so no big deal.

i did promise Hoover so I am fine with it if we can wait until sometime in November. I have track dates through September here in the midwest (TX, OK, KS, and NB) and my wife and I are taking our BMWs "home" to WGI in late September/ early October foe a couple weekend events at WGI.

And I will finally (after 14 months) have my E30 m3 2.5 ltr with new motor (270+hp) next weekend at MSR....

Wonderful! He'll probably have DV done by then, and I know there are a bunch of cars in progress. It'll be a blast!
