I would think that given logistics and the fact that most of us have jobs, perhaps a weekend at one track or two local tracks (near a major airport) would attract a better showing. Just my two cents.

Again, would be a pleasure to volunteer Autobahn, up to you guys. Perhaps we could do it on a weekend where we do South track one day and North track the next....and O'Hare or Midway are both major enough to receive most folks from most places non-stop. I do know though that we're pretty far north...

I could check into the tracks here in Dallas. We have MSR (45 minutes SW from DFW airport) and ECR (45 minutes North of DFW). We could do one day at one and two days at another

The company I instruct for privately (TheDriversEdge) had a 1-day Roush track event at MSR last year then followed up with a weekend "open" HPDE event. We could see about doing the same but at 2 tracks.

I will check with Rick (not 5th Gear Rick) at TheDriversEdge about cost and arrangements. They charge $295 for a weekend with instruction and $275 for solos for 8- 20+ minutes sessions for the weekend. There is a pretty good discount with groups bigger than 4 and get larger with the size of the group.

We live about 15 minutes from DFW and midway from the tracks. We could have the "Nobles" over for dinner for a night or two at our house. We could even house a few cars in the garage (or have Rick at 5th Gear open his garage and house them all) and a few drivers (and families) in our house if needed.

Would want to avoid the late June, July August heat here though..........

    Grapeman, you work????
I could have swore you were admiring the "help" standing next to all the race cars at SEMA on a weekday.

    You make a great point!!!

If we get a run group with some organization, it will be very cost effective.

Texas has quite a few Nobles and Rossions, which is fairly center.

Zez, we'll definitely keep that in mind, thanks for offering.

I do. But Forum Mod called down from the clouds and asked me to follow you to SEMA, making sure that you behaved in Sin City and did not bring any dishonor to the Nobility!

    Dear Grapeman,

I just received your invoice related to this important assignment that I retained your services for and I have some questions.

I think you may need to sharpen your pencil some more.

I don't understand how a "multi-disc clutch" or a "dry sump" was needed to accomplish what I sent you there to do.....

    Respectfully,

    NFM

    YUP YUP YUP...

The 24" spinners really look good. I heard that the spinning fins actually double to cool off the rotors when parked.

Here are the rates at Texas World Speedway. Harris Hill would be about 1/2 that price. Everyone wants the renting body to have $2M/5M insurance

    2.9 Mile $6,625 Per Day $3,640 Per 1/2 Day $7,525 Per Day

Might be better to try to do it in conjunction with another sanctioning body like NASA, DriversEdge, etc. We might be able to negotiate our way to a separate run group.

TWS is 2.9 miles with a very long straight. Harris Hill is 1.7 but we would have a lot more open access.
