Default PACMAN the CAR

Here are some pictures from autocrossing in the rain. I decided to let some of the organizers do some runs in the Noble while I took pictures. My Friend Mehr drove like Ms. Paman it was pretty funny to watch.

Here is the slide show...

Hope it puts a smile on your face.

(Notice the one below where the car has 120 degrees of Yaw.)

Yeah, one of them tried to sacrafice himself to save the cones. I was driving and he tried to run right in front of me as a rounded a hairpin and started on a straight. Captured it on the chase cam. Watched it over and over. Good driver training. I opted not to take him up on his offer. Man it pays to look ahead. I saw him and brought the car to a stop before he saw me.

LOL, your right - I hadn't noticed until you said that. While I was trying to figure out how to get the cone out of my car, her husband was was figuring how to get her out. He was a good guy and had alot of fun when he jumped in and I took him for some runs.

One thing I learned during the day is that in the standing water I got MUCH more grip in the front end by increasing the tire pressure up to 26psi. It was understeering like crazy at 20 psi. We upped the tire pressure in the front to 26 psi and the grip finally came back. Then we went all the way to a ridiculous 32 psi in the front. I actually turned in one of my fastest times in the wet - but it was understeering worse than ever at 32 psi. Went back to 26psi and was happy with it until the sun came out.

We didn't have enough runs to find the ideal front tire pressure. The 26 psi may have been due to the old Yokohoma A048s that dont have much tread left. If anyone has some wet skid pad experience they would like to share it will be much appreciated.
