I have a refrigerant leak in my A/C system. A local (not exotic) shop has traced the dye to the compressor. I have suggested the O rings are the chief suspect but they counter that the leak appears to be coming from the bolt that attaches the compressor...not the connections/O rings. They say that is common with a Ford A/C Compressor.

How tough is it to access the compressor connections and change out the O rings? It appears that we just remove the lower access panel and remove the battery for access to those connections.

Any thoughts?
