    Default G-Tech Pro

The latest G-tech Pro system just plugs into the cigarette lighter and picks up several things without any other wiring, including shift lights, etc.: http://www.gtechpro.com/ I am thinking about getting one. They also have one for street and one for the track.

Does anyone have one of these? How do you like it? Does it do what they say it will do?

Seems like a very simple way to go without having to do any special wiring or sensors.

I use the traqmate (www.traqmate.com) and love it.

I have the GTech and like it a lot. There are more sophisticted systems but they also cost a lot more. For $300 it seems worth the value to me. My new track car has a $5K Pi system in it. Can't wait to play with that one.

I found the RPMs to be off by a few hundred even after calibration so you have to set the shiftlight a little on the conservative side. There is one cal point at 4000 RPMs so the high end is off a bit.

    The Pi systems are sweet.
